About Coast Alpine.

Coast Alpine is a personal mountain journal of photographs, field notes, and gear observations from western Canada.

Coast Alpine covers skiing, climbing, running, and route development, primarily in the Rockies and Coast Mountains. The photography and writing are my own.

I started Coast Alpine to keep a durable record of days outside—the conditions and decisions, what worked, what did not, and the small details that tend to fade after the trip.

Field notes come from time in the mountains. Gear coverage clearly separates first looks from field-tested reviews, and any product relationships will be disclosed plainly.
